Job Summary

The Cooper International Language Center (CILC) is hiring student assistants for the 2016-17 school year.

Responsibilities

The duties of a student assistant include:
• keeping the lab in order
• helping language faculty members and troubleshooting problems in the smart classrooms in Peters
• troubleshooting technical problems with the computers in the CILC
• checking materials in and out of the lab
• being the first point of contact for anyone coming to the lab with questions
• writing entries for the CILC blog
• data entry

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of patrons
• Proficiency (300 level or above) in at least one non-English language
• Excellent English writing skills
• Ability to work well independently
• Attention to detail and responsibilities
• A love of languages and cultures
