Job Summary

This is a part time seasonal position limited to 20 hours per week serving in various needs within the food service operation at Oberlin College. While duties may vary slightly, they will be concentrated in three main areas of service; restocking and maintaining food stations, serving guests in full service operation, and tending to card swipe stations.

Responsibilities

Restocking deli items, condiment stations, salad bar, dessert stations and/or fresh bread rack as well as keeping area clean and well maintained in accordance with all health department regulations and company standards.

Acting as server in full service lunch service operation, tending to guest needs and stocking/cleanup of resources to facilitate service.

Tending to the card swipe station, assisting when necessary students that may have issues and/or special purchase arrangements as they enter dining halls. Reporting guest counts to management staff, and tending to student needs.

Others as assigned

Qualifications

Good customer service skills, familiarity with front and back of the house food service operations.
